Comics Rub Off On You
Can you tell I know some people who like to make comics? This issue of Uppagus continues Dean Focareta's "London Fog" and features Wayne Wise's "BRIX" comic strip. "BRIX" first appeared in the Chatham Communiqué during the 2010-2011 school year.
We need visual art of any and all types to keep Uppagus pretty. Otherwise you readers are liable to get stuck with something like this for eye candy:
Yes, that is a progression of Uppagus, Sr.'s first cross-stitch sampler in comic form. You have been warned. (And strongly encouraged to send your work.)
Thank you all for reading, as always. We are excited about the non-comic content in this issue, too. Whimsy, sadness — sometimes in the same poem. We came across some really fun resonances that we'll let you discover on your own.
