How to Commemorate the Big Bang

Apprehend all you can
of her singular nature,
the rumors of our origin.

Wonder at her works,
the weight and light and height
of the universe she wrought.

Observe an eon's silence,
hand over heart,
hearing the echo of her passing:

that relic radiation
written in microwaves,
fading into eternity.
