growing
why is it that I felt most free
when your bodies were growing inside of me?
my darling babies, you gave me permission
for the roundness in my belly
the dimples on my thighs
the stripes on my torso
the fullness in my cheeks
i could finally let out a deep exhale
and just let my body be.
