What makes a good blog post?

Asking and answering your own questions. They say never ask a question you don't have the answer to. What does this mean? It means that you should always know the answer to any question you ask. Why would you do that? So that when the time comes, and it will -- you can provide the answer yourself.

Why do this? In order to appear knowledgeable. You see, if you withhold a bit of information, and then supply it, you appear to have information. People like to read posts from people who have information. They will assume that you will go on to make some sort of additional point, whether or not you actually do.

The impression of being informative, and of being an intelligent person with information, is all-important. You must create the impression you have a lot of information. And how do you do that? By asking and answering your own questions.
